1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to AIVideoHook ("AIVideoHook", "we", "us" or "our"), a sole proprietorship operating under the laws of the People's Republic of China.

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of our AI service, an AI tool built for short-form video creators, accessible at https://aivideohookgenerator.com (the "Service").

By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, purchasing credits, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that: (a) you are at least 18 years of age; (b) you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms; (c) you agree to our Privacy Policy; and (d) you have the authority to enter into this agreement on your own behalf or on behalf of the organisation you represent.

Important: If you do not agree to these Terms, please stop using the Service. Continuing to use the Service after we update these Terms means you accept the revised Terms.

2. Description of the Service

2.1 What we provide

AIVideoHook provides an AI-powered platform that lets you generate, in one click, opening hooks, scripts and storyboards, and AI image and video prompts for the first three seconds of a short video. The Service is a digital software-as-a-service (SaaS) product delivered over the internet.

2.2 Nature of the Service

The Service is a digital, intangible product. Access is enabled immediately after your payment is confirmed. Because digital services are delivered instantly, refunds are subject to specific limits — see Section 7.

2.3 Reliance on AI models

The Service uses third-party AI model providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Cloudflare, and DeepSeek, among others. The performance and availability of the Service may be affected by the operational status of these providers. We will notify users promptly of any material interruption.

3. Accounts

3.1 Creating an account

Using the Service requires creating an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

3.2 Account security

  • If you become aware of any unauthorised use, contact support@aivideohookgenerator.com immediately.
  • Do not share your login credentials with any third party.
  • Keep the email address on your billing account valid at all times.

3.3 Business accounts

If you register on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you are authorised to enter into this agreement on that entity's behalf.

4. Subscription plans

We offer subscription plans that give you access to the Service, in three tiers — free, pro, and agency — across four price points, each matched to a different usage frequency. Current plan details and pricing are available at https://aivideohookgenerator.com/.

We reserve the right to change plan features or introduce new plans at any time. Price changes are governed by Section 5.1.

5. Billing and payment

5.1 Authorisation for automatic renewal

When you provide a payment method and subscribe to a paid plan, you expressly authorise AIVideoHook to charge the applicable subscription fee to that payment method on a recurring basis. That authorisation remains in effect until you cancel under Section 6.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. We will send notice in advance of each annual renewal.

5.2 Taxes

Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (including VAT, GST, sales tax, or similar) unless otherwise stated. Where required by applicable law, we will collect and remit such taxes.

6. Cancellation

6.1 How to cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time, by either of the following methods:

  • Online (recommended): Account settings → Subscription → Cancel subscription.
  • By email: send a cancellation request from your registered email address to support@aivideohookgenerator.com.

Your cancellation request is processed immediately, and we will send a confirmation email within 10 minutes.

6.2 Effect of cancellation

  • Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period.
  • You will not be charged for any subsequent billing period.
  • Your account data will be retained for 90 days after cancellation and then deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Refund policy

7.1 General policy

Because our digital service is delivered instantly and is intangible, subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except in the cases below.

7.2 Refundable cases

  • 7-day guarantee for new subscribers: a first-time subscriber may request a full refund within 7 days of the first charge, provided usage has not exceeded 1% of the plan's quota.
  • Duplicate charges: a full refund of duplicate charges caused by a billing error.
  • Verified service outage (over 72 hours): a pro-rata refund or an extension for a prolonged outage caused by us.
  • Statutory rights: any withdrawal or refund rights granted by applicable law (such as the 14-day cooling-off period in the EU and UK) are preserved.

7.3 How to request a refund

Email support@aivideohookgenerator.com with your account email, the transaction ID, and the reason for your request. We will confirm within 2 business days and issue the refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

7.4 Non-refundable items

  • Fees for a subscription period you have already used (except in the cases in Section 7.2).
  • Refund requests for an annual subscription made more than 15 days after the initial purchase.
  • Accounts closed for violating these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy in Section 10.

8. Billing disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please email support@aivideohookgenerator.com before raising a dispute with your bank. We will respond within 2 business days and resolve confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.

9. AI content and intellectual property

9.1 Ownership of output

Subject to these Terms, the AI content generated from your input ("Output") belongs to you. You may use the Output for any lawful purpose within the scope permitted by Section 10.

9.2 Licence to your input

By submitting content to the Service ("Input"), you grant AIVideoHook a limited, non-exclusive licence to use it solely to provide the Service to you. We will not use your Input to train AI models without your express consent.

9.3 Reliance on third-party AI models

The Service uses third-party AI model providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Cloudflare, and DeepSeek, among others. Output may be shaped by those providers' models. We do not guarantee any particular quality of Output and are not responsible for content generated by third-party models.

9.4 Accuracy of AI output

AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. It is your responsibility to review and verify the Output before relying on it.

10. Acceptable use policy

10.1 Permitted use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms, including personal productivity, business automation, and research and development.

10.2 Prohibited use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • generate illegal, defamatory, harassing, or fraudulent content;
  • create, distribute, or assist in producing deepfakes, including AI-synthesised audio, video, or images that impersonate a real person or are intended to mislead viewers about their origin or authenticity;
  • generate content that sexualises minors or violates child protection laws;
  • create malware, phishing content, or tools for network attacks;
  • infringe any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • bypass or interfere with the Service's security features;
  • resell or sublicense access without prior written approval;
  • violate any applicable law, regulation, or card network rule.

10.3 Additional prohibitions for AI merchants

In addition to the general prohibitions above, and given the AI nature of the Service, you expressly agree not to:

  • use the Service's input, output, model responses, or any derived data to train, fine-tune, benchmark, distil, or otherwise develop any AI or machine-learning model that competes, directly or indirectly, with the Service or any AIVideoHook product;
  • crawl, extract, or harvest model output at scale or systematically for any purpose beyond your own authorised use;
  • present AI-generated content as the work of a human professional (such as a licensed doctor, lawyer, or financial adviser) in any situation where doing so could cause harm.

11. Data, privacy, and security

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy at https://aivideohookgenerator.com/privacy-policy. Payment card data is processed exclusively by our PCI-DSS certified payment processor (Waffo Pancake) and is not stored on our servers. Account data is retained for 90 days following cancellation, then deleted.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

12.1 Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or the accuracy of AI output.

12.2 AI-generated content disclaimer

AI output from the Service may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Do not use it as legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Always verify with a qualified professional before acting on AI content.

12.3 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AIVideoHook is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Term and termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, if we suspect fraud, or if the law requires it. If we terminate the Service for reasons other than your breach, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid fees on a pro-rata basis. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@aivideohookgenerator.com.

14. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Before starting formal proceedings, please email support@aivideohookgenerator.com to try to resolve the matter informally.

15. General

We may update these Terms at any time. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before material changes take effect. Continuing to use the Service means you accept them. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions stay in full force. These Terms and the Privacy Policy together form the entire agreement between you and AIVideoHook.
